Letter from the Publisher

There seems to be a lot of anxiety in the air these days. This is especially true in markets like Reston Town Center since the controversial paid parking issue over the last few months. Still, the promise of the New American City I see in Tysons is promising! Like so many others who have made it through both good times and more challenging periods, I’m “keepin’ the faith.” I encourage you to do that as well.

In this issue, Analiese Kreutzer tells us about the many luxury living options available in the area—and we mean luxury. Apartment buildings are opening up all around us just a hop, skip, and jump away from our city! Plus, Elaine Watt takes us to The Greenhill Winery and Vineyards for a fabulous tour, great people, and wonderful way to spend the spring days ahead. Thanks, Elaine.

We asked you—our readers—to tell us about your favorite restaurants in the area, and the results were not surprising! We know you have a discerning palate when it comes dining adventures, and our area’s restaurants answer the all! Read all about them and visit soon.

Keith Loria takes us to 1st Stage Theatre in Tysons for an interview with Alex Levy—what a gift to have such terrific stage performances so close to us. We also had the chance to visit with Bellina Lambdin of Merle Norman in Vienna who got a taste of those Hollywood lights. Read all about how she is living her Hollywood dream.
