Lexi Stalcup breaks Marshall High School basketball record

Marshall High School senior girls basketball player Lexi Stalcup finished the season with 43 three-pointers and set the school record with 93 career threes. The old school record was 81 by Teresa Hackett.

The 43 threes were among the leaders in the metropolitan area this past season.

Stalcup made at least one three-pointer in every game but three. She played in 23 games and averaged 10.7 points per game, with a high of 22. Her game-high for three-pointers were five against Jefferson.

Stalcup will be playing in the CKA Project Mid-Atlantic All-Star Game on March 17 to conclude her high school basketball career.
