Leesburg warmly welcomed one of its newest businesses on Friday, March 31st, when The Woodhouse Spa hosted its Grand Opening celebration at its Leesburg Village location. The occasional bursts of rain that threatened all day did nothing to dampen the enthusiasm of the crowd as Don and Beth Weeks as they cut the gold ribbon and invited their guests into their gorgeous, lush spa. As part of the ceremony, Woodhouse presented a generous donation of $1,250.00 to Loudoun Child Advocacy, a program of the Loudoun Abused Women’s Shelter, as part of its commitment to the health and wellness of their new community.
While attendees enjoyed entertainment provided by Lisa Herndon of popular local radio station WINC FM, and nibbled on an assortment of delicious bites prepared by Travinia Italian Kitchen & Wine Bar, small groups of ten or so were escorted on a guided tour of the premises to familiarize themselves with the people and services available. Each group entered through the gracious lobby filled with attractive retail offerings, and progressed to the Quiet Room, where guests begin their journey with a chance to shed the stresses of the day, rehydrate with citrus infused waters, and relax in comforting chairs with soft throws. After a brief overview, the tour continued to the Vichy Shower room, where clients experience the healing detoxification process of this signature treatment. Single and dual massage rooms, facial treatment rooms, seaweed soaking room, and expansive manicure and pedicure facilities were all featured as we wound our way through the elegant and tranquil spa atmosphere.
